Focusing In: The Journey from Markets to Online Sales

From April to June, I immersed myself in the vibrant world of festivals. These events were incredible for our growth, boosting our monthly earnings by over 100%! Some months, our market sales even matched our store's monthly revenue, which was amazing, especially since it was just me running the show. However, the journey was intense and demanding, particularly because my sister was out of town in Ukraine, helping orphans affected by the ongoing war.

My goal was to wrap up my last show at the end of July and shift my focus entirely to our online presence. But, like many entrepreneurs, I got tempted by the allure of high-margin flea markets. I thought I could juggle both. Man, was I wrong. After two attempts with great margins but low returns on time and mental energy, I realized I needed a change.

In July, I decided to take a break from markets and fully focus online. And you know what? My mind feels fantastic! The stress of loading up the car, maintaining it, and the physical toll of setting up and breaking down at markets was overwhelming.

The moral of this experience is clear: We must not stretch ourselves too thin. Sometimes, singular focus is good. At Inti, we believe in focusing on the right things and building them up until they are perfect.
